Congrats! You did your research, made the plans, ordered the parts and officially booked Rasinski Construction for your home remodel project. We look forward to working with you and your family to transform your space into your dream vision. Before we start your project, please review some keep points to keep in mind about our process, accessibility and more information to manage your construction expectations
Communication Is Key!
Read the Google reviews and client testimonials on our site and you’ll see all the mentions of the high level of communication we strive to achieve during your remodel. We provide advance notice on each step of the process via a phone call or text. We appreciate your fast reply to confirm these plans or address any issues in a timely manner.
We Do Our Best To Contain Our Mess
While some dust and construction matter will undoubtedly enter your home during the remodel process, we do our best to contain this to a minimum. We may install zippered plastic barriers, protective floor coverings or drop cloths to protect the other areas of your home not part of this remodel. We use an assortment of containment materials, like plastic buckets, to transport discarded material to the dumpster or our work trucks. At the end of each day, you’ll find us vacuuming up bulk material to limit a mess for the next day of work.
Be Prepared For An Early Arrival
Our team of skilled contractors is filled with lots of early birds who want to limit inconveniences in your home by not overstaying their welcome. We tend to start early to get the most out of our work day and appreciate you allowing us to arrive early, ready to work while you enjoy your morning cup of joe.
Dumpster Space Requirements
Should a dumpster be required for your home remodel, expect someone from the Rasinski Construction team to discuss space requirements or limitations where this may be placed to minimize inconvenience while making it functional for the construction team. The container is placed on wood blocking to help limit damaging the asphalt, concrete or paver stone driveway, as well as the roadway. Any permits required are handled by the Rasinski Construction team.
Extra Key Needs
Typically a lockbox is left on site with a key for the door the homeowner would like us to use or in other cases a door code is provided.
Construction Permits and Inspections
We handle the permit process from completing to submitting the applications, scheduling of inspections and typically being onsite for inspections.
Discuss Installation Patterns and Styles
Those adding tile and unique materials will want to discuss the pattern prior to installation with our contractors in case you’re not readily available. For example, rectangular subway tiles can be laid on your walls or floors in 30 patterns, including brick style, stacked vertically, or herring bone! Provide reference photos in advance or dry lay these items in your space so your contractor and installation are all versed on your wants.
Staying on Budget
When booking a Rasinski Construction remodel, you’ll be provided with a full budget breakdown of what’s included in your project and what materials may need to be secured prior to installation. Tom and his team take pride in staying on track with the budget outlined and are happy to discuss any changes that relate to design alternations.
